As a Voice 21 Oracy School, you will be joining a movement of over 900 schools across the UK who are transforming teaching and learning through talk.

Our sustained approach weaves oracy into your school’s DNA, ensuring current and future students have access to a high-quality oracy education. We provide comprehensive training and support to your teachers and school leaders to embed oracy deliberately and explicitly in your teaching practices and across your curriculum.

This means that students in your school, including those who would otherwise miss out, will develop the oracy skills they need to thrive in school and beyond. Together, Voice 21 Oracy Schools are making society a fairer, more equitable place where everyone learns how to use their voice.

Each programme equips Oracy Champions with the expertise and practical tools they’ll need, enabling your school to work towards accreditation as a Voice 21 Oracy Centre of Excellence!

Our programme of Open Learning enhances your school’s pathway choice for the year. It’s a varied selection of our expert short courses, downloadable resources, online learning and peer communities that are accessible to all colleagues in your school, not just teachers. Designed to complement your existing CPD plan, all options are focused on developing a specific area of practice which you select depending on the specific needs of your whole school, colleagues and long-term goals for oracy.
