“This is a moral cause - a route to social mobility”

Peter Hyman, Executive Head, School 21, made the case for oracy as a moral cause and a route to social mobility on Twitter at the start of the year.

We were delighted to see the significant interest that the tweet got from the wider educational community and supporters of oracy in education.

If you are one of these teachers and educators or simply someone who believes that every child regardless of their background should have the opportunity to find their voice to succeed in school and in life, then we would love to connect with you.

Throughout 2018, Voice 21 will be working to amplify the case for oracy and support and develop oracy teaching across the UK. We want to collaborate, explore, share and learn from individuals and organisations committed to this aim.

So if you are interested in… taking part in expert panels, offering professional development, exchanging your ideas and expertise, conducting research, being a case study, attending events, speaking at conferences and seminars, writing blogs, hosting local networks or training, being part of campaigns, accessing support, sharing resources or just want to stay in the loop, we’d love to hear from you! Click here to sign up or email [email protected] and we’ll be in touch very soon.
