Voice 21’s founding CEO Beccy Earnshaw leaves Voice 21 after 8 years

Voice 21’s founding CEO Beccy Earnshaw, today leaves the organisation she has led for over 8 years. Since its launch in 2015, Voice 21 has become the UK’s leading oracy organisation.

Beccy has grown Voice 21 from a repurposed broom cupboard in a school in East London, to a national organisation with a team of 60 staff who have worked with over 2000 schools, ensuring hundreds of thousands of students have benefitted from high-quality oracy education. This incredible achievement is testament to Beccy’s commitment, dedication, passion and drive to promote the value of oracy education

Beccy says: “It has been an honour to lead Voice 21. I am grateful to all the schools, partners, supporters and my wonderful colleagues who have made it such a fulfilling experience. I leave the organisation safe in the knowledge that the new CEO Kate Paradine will strive to extend and amplify the tremendous impact that our work has on education outcomes over the coming years.”

On behalf of everyone at Voice 21 we would like to thank Beccy for her immense contribution to Voice 21 and to oracy education in the UK. We will really miss Beccy but we know she will continue to be a key part of the movement to prioritise oracy education in schools.
