Stage 3 contains three key elements: our Oracy Impact and Innovation course, consultancy support and online learning modules. These will equip you and your teachers with the expertise, tools and resources to sustain, strengthen and share your oracy teaching and learning practice.
This course will enable your team to evaluate the impact of oracy in your own school and others’, and use these insights to design and implement innovative practices to further strengthen the impact of oracy in your school.
Through an in-depth exploration of current practice at your school and other schools within our network, your Oracy Champions will engage in professional learning to drive impact in your setting.
Time: This course will take place online, with self-led learning modules and practical tasks to complete in school. Online teaching time will be split into termly twilights, encompassing the equivalent of one day in total.
Course attendees: Spaces for two teachers – the Oracy Champions for your school.
Throughout the year you will work with a dedicated Voice 21 consultant who will provide one-to-one, ongoing support, tools and guidance, strengthening your school’s already-strong practice and equipping you to further develop the impact of oracy in your school.
Your Voice 21 Oracy Consultant will provide developmental support and review of current practice across your school. Your school will be equipped to continually sustain oracy practice, as well as sharing your learning with our network of schools nationally.
Time: our consultancy support includes frequent one-to-one meetings, information sharing and progress reviews conducted remotely. You will also benefit from an Oracy Consultancy Day at your school, focused on your school’s priorities. Your school’s progress and plans will be defined and shared in bespoke documents throughout the year, such as your Oracy Benchmarks Report.
The modules you have access to at Stage 3 will stimulate innovation and enable your team to lead the national conversation around oracy. You will also have access to a module designed to support new staff induction to oracy alongside modules focused on specialist areas of practice.
Our range of self-led online modules vary in length and can be completed at a time which works for your team. The Voice 21 Exchange is open to anyone in your school who wants to develop their oracy expertise.
Each stage costs £2500 (primary schools) or £3000 (secondary schools) for the year. If you sign up for all three stages now, your total cost over three years will be reduced to £7000 (primary schools) or £8500 (secondary schools).
