Announcing The Speaking Summit 2026

Endorsed by the government and the Curriculum and Assessment Review, the oracy movement is louder than ever, and ensuring that classrooms are too.

Less than half a year since the Curriculum and Assessment Review recommended that oracy be placed on an equal footing with literacy and numeracy, Voice 21 is once again gathering educators and the leading voices who are revolutionising UK education for The Speaking Summit 2026.

What can we expect this year?
  • Gain insights from experts on the latest research, policy developments, and effective practices in oracy education.
  • Discover the impact that a high-quality oracy education can have on student attainment, wellbeing and career readiness.
  • Hear what Voice 21 has learned from our network of 2500+ schools and 16000+ teachers across the country about how you can ensure that your oracy provision is high-quality and inclusive by design.
  • Build connections with fellow educators, leaders, and advocates working to promote oracy education across the system.
  • Speak with other school leaders at all stages of their oracy journey to learn about implementation strategies and the impact of embedding a high-quality oracy education.
  • Learn from a decade of experience supporting 1 in 10 schools in the country, as well as Government bodies and Local/Combined Authorities, from Jersey to the North East and beyond.

Join us in March at The Speaking Summit 2026 and join the conversations that are shaping the national curriculum.
